5.6 40-64 E.O.O (finished) and 5.7 1-79 E.O.O.(we'll finish this 5.7 Tuesday), which completes solving radical equations and covers complex numbers.  I have linked the videos to these sections below.

Also, the third test is a week from today: Thursday, November,1st, which covers all of chapter 5.  The worksheet and all of the labs are due at the beginning of class on Thursday, the 1st.  Please work on the worksheet over the weekend, so I can check it for you before you turn it in to Mr. Phillips.  Remember,

Finish 5.3 64-101 E.O.O. and 5.4 1-64 E.O.O., which covers Rationalizing the Denominator and Adding/Subtracting Radicals both with and without fractions.  I have linked the second video to 5.3, which will help you finish this section, and I linked two videos for 5.4: Part 1 is for radicals without fractions and Part 2 is for radicals with fractions.

Tuesday, October 16th's Homework Assignment

5.3 1-64 E.O.O., which covers simplifying radicals.  I will link the videos for this section below.

Also, test corrections: correct # 9, 11, 13, and 14 on a separate sheet a paper stapled to the front of the test; work these problems entirely and you can earn up to half of the points you missed back from these problems.  The test corrections are due at the beginning of class Thursday, the 18th.  If you come to see me Thursday at 10:30 AM, I will look over your test corrections, and if I see anything wrong, I will lead you in the right direction.  However, I will not do the test corrections for you!!!

5.1 1-122 E.O.O. and 5.2 1-111 E.O.O., which covers Rational Exponents and Radicals.  This material is the beginning of Test 3, so your top priority is Worksheet 2, the labs for chapter 4, and studying for Test 2, which is on Thursday.  Remember, Worksheet 2 and the labs are due at the beginning of class Thursday; Mr. Phillips will NOT accept late-work.  I've linked the videos for the homework for 5.1 and 5.2 below; 5.1 is broken into two parts.  If you have any questions or concerns, please leave them in the comment section below.  Study hard and be brilliant!
