What I am here to do as your SI Leader:
- Provide you with a better understanding of the material covered in class.
- Show you how to find the answers to your questions.
- Help you gain better study strategies and organizational skills in a math class.
- Help you learn how to take quality lecture notes.
- Help you restore and gain your confidence in math.
What I am NOT here to do as your SI Leader:
- Do the work for you.
- Give you the answers.
- Be a sounding board for negativity.
Successes of the SI Program:
The previous students who worked with me more than twice in the semester earned an entire letter grade higher than those students who never worked with me. I cannot give you any guarantees, but if you put forth A REAL EFFORT and do the work, you're headed in the right direction for being successful in mathematics!
